What is Dr. Doni eating for quick protein?

Did you know that there is a neuropeptide called Orexin that basically communicates to our brains whether we've eaten protein?  And if not, then the result is fatigue, low motivation and weight gain.

Oh my! Is it ever time for protein…every time we eat!

Lucy, my student intern, and I analyzed a bunch of possibilities and came across these favorites for approximately 6 to 8 grams of protein.

* 2 slices of turkey (free range, preservative-free) with about a teaspoon of mustard (I like the fancy kinds!)

* 1 oz of Brad's Raw Leafy Kale Chips

* 1/3 cup of Quinoa
