(New York, NY) – November 8, 2011 The Naturopathic Medicine Informational Forum hosted by the Association of Accredited Naturopathic Medical Colleges (AANMC) has announced that Dr. Doni Wilson, N.D., a naturopathic doctor from Manhattan, has been selected to introduce and speak on a panel at the annual forum being held at SLC Centers in Manhattan on November 12th.
The AANMC is expecting hundreds of prospective naturopathic physicians for the event, November 12th from 9:45 am – 1:30 pm in New York, NY. The agenda for the day includes an introduction to naturopathic medicine, a panel discussion on weight and appetite, a student presentation on "A Day in the Life of an ND student," and information on how to apply to a naturopathic medical school.
Dr. Wilson, who holds a doctorate in naturopathic medicine from Bastyr University, as well as two bachelor’s degrees in pre-medicine and nutritional science, will speak on a panel and present a case study demonstrating her signature approach to weight loss and healing, including her proprietary Hamptons Cleanse. That panel will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 10:35 am.
“I am so proud to be part of a panel that is intended to inspire prospective students about how they can be a part of changing health care through naturopathic medicine,” Wilson stated.
The Association of Accredited Naturopathic Medical Colleges represents the seven naturopathic medical schools (including Bastyr University) throughout the U.S. and Canada that are accredited and recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to provide doctorate degree programs in Naturopathic Medicine.
“AANMC's forum provides future physicians the opportunity to learn more about a career in naturopathic medicine and to meet leaders in the naturopathic medical field,” says Sandra Watson, AANMC events coordinator.
