In today’s episode of How Humans Heal, Dr. Doni got to speak with Ellen Goldstein. She is a licensed acupuncturist and Diplomat in Chinese herbalism, is a recognized educator, health advocate, author and practitioner in the field of Chinese medicine, holistic and integrative health care. 

Ellen is adjunct faculty at the National University of Natural Medicine in the School of Graduate Studies and the College of Classical Chinese Medicine, teaching Chinese Dietetics and its application in western society. 

Ellen has served an 8-year tenure on the Acupuncture Advisory Committee of the Oregon Medical Board and 12 years of service on the National University of Natural Medicine’s board of directors. 

She is the author of Nutritional Healing with Chinese Medicine: +175 Recipes for Optimal Health. She regularly presents on the value of understanding food as medicine from a Chinese medicine point of view at conferences and schools to healthcare providers.
