Dr. Doni, author of The Stress Remedy, joins forces with other natural health experts in two free online summits that cover a variety of topics on health and wellness.
I participated in two health summits this week, on two different topics: SLEEP and TOXINS. This was a great opportunity to band together with other natural health experts to offer you a variety of different viewpoints and approaches.
All too often, people approach healthy living—both physically and emotionally—using one-size-fits-all solutions that never seem to work. The reason this “cookie cutter” approach to health is flawed is because you have specific needs and you make unique choices every day that impact your approach to vibrant, healthy living.
What works for one person may not work for another. Every system in the body is connected, which is why you have you look at everything holistically. Not only that, but it helps to look at things from different points of view. It’s what I do in my practice, and my patients will tell you that this approach works!
This is what we’re trying to replicate in these health summits. If I can’t be there with you in person, you can still get multiple viewpoints from qualified health experts—and hopefully, some actionable steps to get you feeling better.
Here are the details of the two summits. Both are free and running now—don’t wait to sign up!
Talking About Sleep: Lifestyle is the New Medicine
The “Lifestyle is the New Medicine” Summit, hosted by my colleague, Dr. Tina Christie (who is a naturopathic doctor like me). The series just began on May 7th, and will include 23 guest speakers talking about how you can make lifestyle choices that revitalize your health and emotions.
In my practice, I find that when my patients are experiencing extreme fatigue and feeling exhausted, poor sleep is often at the root of the problem. When you don’t get enough sleep, it can actually exacerbate the ailments that you are already prone to. For instance, if you experience chronic joint pain, headaches, or digestive issues—lack of sleep will amplify the symptoms.
Let’s get this under control. The first step is to start making some adjustments in your routine with the goal of getting a block of restful, uninterrupted sleep every night. All it takes is a few simple changes to get started. Once it becomes a regular practice, you’ll be putting your body in a much better position to start addressing the root cause of your ailments.
Even though this summit is already underway, it’s not too late! Here’s the link to my interview: http://www.lifestyleisthenewmedicine.com. It’s called Sleep, Glorious Sleep!. Don’t forget to register to check out all the other great talks too!
Talking About Toxins: Detox Your Life
The “Detox Your Life & Step Into Your Purpose” Summit, hosted by my friend (and patient!), Britta Aragon of CVSkinLabs, just began on May 5th, and will include interviews with 27 experts in health and wellness.
Let’s take a step forward together and detoxify our bodies by getting rid of all the toxins that affect us so we can gain access to more space, energy, and motivation to live a more healthy, fulfilling life.
Again, even though the summit is already underway, it’s not too late to join! Register for free here: http://www.detoxyourlifesummit.com. My interview in the series is called Detox From Toxic Stress, and it is available for two more days from today—and then again on May 19. I’ll post update here as a reminder.
