Natural Solutions for Spring Allergies

Springtime Allergies Knocking at Your Door?

Excitement for spring flowers and leaves on the trees is dampened for those of us with pollen allergies.

Pollen can trigger days (or months) of sneezing, stuffy noses; watery, itchy eyes; and fatigue-producing headaches.

On the other hand, the medications available to address allergy symptoms can cause drowsiness, foggy-brain, and dryness.

Because I was a long-time allergy sufferer, I’ve tried every possible natural therapy to reduce the annoying symptoms. I’m excited to say I can now enjoy the spring without allergies! I want to share with you exactly what I do to stop allergies in their tracks.

I just heard from a patient who came to see me to help her with allergies three years ago…

At that time she asked for help to decrease her springtime allergies, and the subsequent sinus infections and pneumonia she would get every year. Now, she reported that this is the first year she did not get pneumonia. It was not an easy path to change her diet and to take supplements on a regular basis, but she did it, and it changed her health. I’m so happy for her!

*Please keep in mind that any and all supplements—nutrients, herbs, enzymes, or other—should be used with caution. My recommendation is that you seek the care of a naturopathic doctor (with a doctorate degree from a federally-accredited program) and that you have a primary care physician or practitioner whom you can contact to help you with individual dosing and protocols. If you ever experience negative symptoms after taking a product, stop taking it immediately and contact your doctor right away.
